External Materials

The outside of the pants is constructed of abrasion resistant 400D nylon with ventilation zone. This allows the pants to be more resistant to cuts from skates or any other objects, while also being durable and reliable. The ventilation zone provides airflow throughout, absorbing sweat or any moisture to keep them light.

Thigh Protection

The thighs are protected with molded PE and MD foam inserts. These are anatomically formed and wrap around the leg to provide a low profile feel. This allows the pad to move with the body and prevent the pants from rotating during contact.

Hip Protection

The hip protection features a classic one-piece hip guard in what is typically a high contact area. It's construction is built to withstand tough impact and still provide protection and durability.

Spine Protection

With the integrated spine and injected protection shield, you don't have to worry about your back area being left out. The hard, reliable plastic material keeps the lower spine protected from any unwanted contact.

Kidney Protection

The one-piece kidney protector with molded PE and MD foam inserts keep your kidney area protected. The paddding wraps around the body comfortably while still allowing you to get deep into your strides.

Belt/Lace Closure

The Bauer X series pants come with a traditional belt cinch and standard lacing. These closures allow you to customize how tight or loose you want the pant to sit on your body.
