The Bauer Vapor X Velocity 2017 has reconstructed their skates with the new Fiber Composite giving their skates a more durable last. While still maintaining the X-Rib pattern to produce a tighter fit in the heel and ankles to reduce slipping and movement. Combining Fiber Composite and X-Rib will be offering a better performing skate and much better price in years past.

An upgraded tongue taken from the Bauer X700 boot provides better comfort and protection with 48 oz. felt. A high-density metatarsal guard on the front of the tongue also helps protect the foot from lace bite and allows the laces to slide up and down the tongue without binding.

As well, another upgraded feature the new Lock Fit liner wicks away moisture from your foot to keep you cool, dry and stable while performing at your top level. The outsole is also upgraded to clear TPU with PET film for an improved graphic and add rigidity. Lastly, upgraded Tuuk LS1 steel from the X700 provides a longer lasting sharpening and better edges than the Tuuk Super Stainless steel the Bauer X600 comes with.
